I just bought rainbow six siege on steam for $20 and i downloaded the game and i made a ubisoft account. When the game was done downloading i hit the play button and it said "link your steam account to ubisoft account?" But when i hit continue it says that there was an error with the ownership of the game. It is very sad that so many people are having this problem and you guys can't find a way to solve it.

Sorry to hear that you are having this trouble.
Can I check that you are logged in on Ubisoft connect when you try to launch the game?
Have you ever had another Ubisoft account that your Steam could be linked to?
