[2022] Can't play with friends, can't connect to public matches and deletes all character customization

Crazy to me the game has been out for 7 years and Ubisoft still can't release an update without breaking the game. I've read all the other posts about not being able to invite friends and tried the little tricks people are recommending and still nothing works. The most help these people are getting from Ubisoft support is just telling them to keep trying what other people are doing and hope it works. Not to mention every time I open the game now any cosmetics I apply to my character gets wiped and has to be reapplied to literally all of them. Even if I wanted to play alone, I'd have to sit in a 5+ minute que to eventually be error coded. I can't even start a private match without it disconnecting from servers. L game and L support... time to uninstall for good.
