[2020] rainbow six siege, low fps all of the sudden

I used to get 70 fps average on custom settings with a few settings set on high but now my average is 45fps and even down to 30 during gunfights. other games run fine and just like before but rainbow six siege is acting weird.
I play on a laptop with an...

- Rx560
- i5-7300 HQ
- 8gb ddr4 SODIMM 2400

I've also made sure the game isn't running on my integrated which it is not, though I do have to disable my integrated w/ control panel every time I open siege so it doesn't run on my integrated.
so far I've tried

- DDU
- Reinstalling the game.
- bios
- getting mad
- resetting my pc
- set siege to high performance

Help would be appreciated.
