[2020] siege wont launch(PC)

I cant load up siege!!. And I 'think' i know whats the problem. i was going clearing up some space and looking through files and programs and deleting and i deleted ms visual c++ because i didn't know that it was related to siege but ive looked through google and people did the same thing so i followed their solution and i re downloaded all the necessary visual files but it still wont boot up. the first time i tried to boot it it had the error message "VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found" but does not appear anymore after i re-installed visual c++. I also tried verifying file integrity with no luck. i have the game on Steam and when i press play it says its launching but it automatically cancels. Is this a file problem or server problem? becuase my friends load up fine but at the time of writing this there is an issue of people also being unable to launch their game. is there a way to fix this? because its about to give me a heart attack!
