I recently started a ranked match with my friend and as the game started I was instantly kicked out I tried to reconnect multiple times and it said connection failed and I tried restarting my computer, reconnecting my internet and restarting siege, but nothing seemed to work when the game ended I was banned for 30 minutes and this wasn't even my fault.

I'm very sorry to read you were disconnected, and were not able to rejoin the match. It's very difficult to say why that happened.
At Ubisoft Support, we don't have the ability to manually override the outcome of a match, or the MMR gained / lost.
We will do our best to look out for other similar reports, so we can make sure there are no issues!
