[2021] Can't find activation code RE6 is asking me

I tried to play RE6 on Steam but it asks for an activation code.
The problem is that I played Siege when it was free for a limited amount of time before and now I can't find the activation code in my email, I assume it got deleted.
I have updated ubisoft, restarted Steam, looked up the Activation code in uplay where it isn't.
Can somebody help me?

I'm sorry to hear you're being asked for an activation code, what is the exact error message you receive when it asks you for a key? Also, do you have Ubisoft Connect running and signed in to the Ubisoft account you have linked to your Steam when you try to launch the game?
