A friend of mine got disconnected from xbox live, and is now banned from playing ranked for another 24 hours. Gamer tag is lauren ems. I really don't think being disconnected from xbox live should result in a ban. Any way of unbanning or not?

We are unable to remove or reduce temporary sanctions I'm afraid. Rainbow Six Siege is currently unable to determine which disconnections are intended, therefore it can lead to an abandonment penalty if the match is not reconnected to.
@walkerrmay I appreciate you sending some feedback about the canceling system. It is quite new so perhaps it can be improved, I'll forward your feedback to the team!
