[2020] [Connectivity/Multiplayer]Constant Lag

Hi everyone, About 2 weeks ago I started (and continue) to experience tremendous lag while playing Rainbow Six siege on PS4. Initially, I thought it could have been because of the rework of challet and that update - this is when I started to experience lag while playing. I have a few friends that also play that have experienced lag starting the same time I did. All of us, but one person have the original PS4, my one friend that has a newer edition is not lagging at all. Whereas, all of my friend who have the original PS4 have been lagging. I have ran speed tests and have the same connect speeds as I did prior to the lagging starting

I have an Xbox one and tried playing siege and warzone on there and did not experience lag at all.

For my PS4 I am also experience lag when playing madden, warzone and nba online. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve the lag? I would like to stay it is not a connectivity issue since my Xbox one is working perfectly fine.

Hello! I'm sorry to read you're experiencing a lot of lag on PS4, I will do my best to help you.

You explained that this also affects your other games, so I will ask some general questions.

- If you go to your PS4's settings and run a connectivity test, what download & upload speed do you have?
- Are you connected wirelessly, or by cable?
- Has anything changed in your home related to your network? For example, a new router.
