I have qued for a long time for a ranked match so I naturaly reset the timer by canceling the match and starting an new ranked and halfway through my rank match i got a penalty ban and an abandon sanction. I have went down a rank and lost 90+ ELO from this glitch.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience, we have had similar reports of this behaviour and our R6S team are currently investigating.
When first searching for a match, it does connect you to one after around 5 minutes however it doesn't them bring you bring you into it. This leads players to searching for matchmaking (or rejoining if they have that button) a second time and once the first match concludes without you, an abandonment penalty is given.
I'm sorry to say we are unable to return Elo on an individual basis. Our hope is that this issue will be resolved in the near future, so players don't have to experience this again.
