So this isnt the first time this has happened and its getting really annoying. I tried to jump in a ranked match and hit the queue button and tabbed out. When i tabbed back in i got a warning that i needed to reconnect to a ranked match, a match which i had never entered to begin with or face a 60 minute sanction if i didnt before the match ended. What is up with that, i want to play the game and now im getting banned for no reason

I'm sorry to hear you've encountered this and apologies for any inconvenience caused as a result.
Did you leave and rejoin queue before this happened? This can happen if you leave queue just as you were about to be connected to a match which results in this message despite not actually being in the game.
If this becomes a regular occurrence for you I'd also recommend running through our connectivity troubleshooting if you haven't already done so.
