[2020] 'Ubisoft Connect is unable to start your download. Please check that you have active

So I'm trying to update for neon dawn and I'm getting the error Ubisoft Connect is unable to start your download. Please check that you have an active internet connection and sufficient space on your hard drive then try again. The drive where my r6 is installed has 150 GB free, I even uninstalled and reinstalled ubisoft connect and still receive the same message. I've tried retrying the update several times but every time I receive the same message, there's nothing wrong with my internet connection either.
