Hello there, my friend has been trying to change his name in game in rainbow but it seems it doesn't work. He has changed the name in Ubisoft, in Gmail and his name is still the same in rainbow six siege has anyone ever encountered this problem before? if so how did you fix it?

I've found your thread in 'General Discussion' and moved it over to 'Player Support' section instead.
If your friend updated his username as required, it can sometimes take a brief moment before it gets updated in-game and this will only be seen after game is restarted.
Should your friend continue to experience difficulties however, we will be more than happy to look into it for him/her, therefore just advise him to reach out via one of the following channels, based on personal preference:
