Recently bought the game via Epic Games Store. However, upon launch - the game requests an Activation Code. Found it in my Ubisoft game library and copied it - now is gives the following error:

"The CD Key or Activation Code is already active on this account. Please, visit your library to access your games."

Contacted Epic - they gave a couple of solutions (none of which worked), then they sent me to Ubisoft support. The Ubisoft support has been playing dead for almost two days now, which is honestly outrageous.

What do I do? How do I resolve the issue?

Hey Alexxxalos,

Thank you for reaching out to us, welcome to forums and I am sorry to hear about the issue you ran into.

To correct this situation, I recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

Please, navigate to the Ubisoft Game Launcher cache folder, by default located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache
Do note, that the Uplay client must be fully shut down at this point and not running in the background.
Open the cache folder and move the "ownership" folder to a safe location.
Once you have backed up that folder, delete the "cache" folder.
After deleting the cache folder, please verify the game files within Epic:
- Open Epic
- Navigate to the game in your Library and click the cog icon.
-click the Verify button once the drop down menu appears.
- After verification, the launch option appears again.

If verification is not available within Epic, please install the game files in Uplay. If you need to verify the files after installation, you can do this via the following:-

- In Uplay, click on Games tab at the top of the window
- On the next screen, hover over the game tile. This will make a little arrow appear at the bottom right of the tile
- Click on this arrow to make a drop-down menu appear, then click on Verify files

When this has been completed, try launching the game again.

Should you have any questions, let us know!

However, now I've got another problem. I prefer English language for the game - but I only get Russian and Turkish (even though the Epic Games Store page said that English WAS among the languages available for this game).

How do I fix it? How do I get the access to the language pack that I was promised when buying the game?
Thanks for your response and I'm glad to hear that!

In regards to the language issue - I would recommend you to reach out to the retailer you bought the product of, which would be Epic Games Store in this instance, and just double-check regarding language availability for the game, as it does appear to be limited.

Text: Polish, Arabic, Czech, Dutch, Turkish

It's crazy, to be honest, that you pay money for a game - and you cannot play it in the original language. How is that even possible? Why does the publisher has to dictate me, the consumer, which language I should play their game in? It does not make any sense. And then why does The Division (the same Tom Clancy's game series) support English, but Siege does not?

The bottom line: I want the game in English language (the language I've paid for), otherwise I'll have to consider simply getting a refund, forgetting this whole mess as a bad dream, and never touching a Ubisoft game ever again.

I hope, though, that you will find a way to resolve this issue - because I really love your games.
I would like to clarify that although there are a number of languages available in-game (out of which English is most certainly supported), some game copies are limited to only certain languages, just as you've stated that yours only has Russian and Turkish languages available. For these queries, you will need to go to retailer and ask to provide a game copy that has got other languages available too.

However, as you reached out to Epic Games and they have directed you to come to us, can I please ask you to visit our support website, login to your Ubisoft account, select 'Contact Customer Support' and submit a ticket by providing us with the communication you've had, as well as the description of your issue.

Once this is done, let us know and we will have a look.

You what the fun fact is? That is THE ONLY OPTION available to contact Ubisoft support right now.

I am deeply shocked and outraged with this kind of treatment.

Should I wait another week, or a month, to simply GET IN TOUCH with the support, let alone resolve my issue?

There's a simple solution, though: just give me the English version of the game that I paid my money for - and be done with it.
I have reopened the ticket that you created previously for the same issue - 12621058.

We will need you to visit our support website, login to your account, click on the top right drop down menu and select 'My cases'. Once there, locate case 12621058 and click on it. Once done, simply provide the requested information in my post above and we will take it from there.

Should you have any questions in the meantime, let us know!
