I'm constantly freezing for a consistent 7 to 10 seconds, especially whenever an enemy player is nearby.
my game stops working, Yet in-game voice still works, and afterwards it can happen again directly after.

I have searched, raided the internet for a fix, to absolutely no avail except for 1 thing. Restarting the Game. Nobody wants to restart there client after every, single, Match ends.
the amount of Hate I have heard to Ubisoft as this has been an issue gone unresolved for months now, is Staggering.
apparently the consensus is a Memory leak for older PCs, but even then is up for debate. Regardless I've been banned because of this, cursed out in-game, Even told that it could be the actions of Hackers trying to "Kill" the game. I've also heard other rumors that Nvidia GPUs are the only ones having this issue.

those fixes that DO NOT WORK are as followed.

  1. Lowering Settings to their lowest possible Value. Such as Anti aliasing, Texture Quality, etc.
  2. Turning off Ubisoft Connect's Overlay
  3. Shutting down any external programs in the background.
  4. Cleaning Shader Cache.
  5. Uninstalling Older Drivers.
  6. Lowering the Resolution
  7. Cleaning my Hard drives
  8. Trying to play on another PC
  9. Uninstalling Overwolf and R6tracker
  10. turning off Windows Optimizations
  11. Reinstalling the game
  12. Verifying game file Integrity.
  13. Booting Safe mode
  14. Highering my GPU's shader Cache to Unlimited
  15. changing my settings in the Nvidia control panel to accommodate performance
  16. everything is updated.

I've tried everything on my End, now it's time for Ubisoft to do something on there end. As it's not your players, it's your game.
The game will spike the GPU when an enemy does any action nearby another player, Causing any stable Wifi connection to de-sync, thus creating the Freeze.

What else is there to fix this bug? I heard that, something Involving the Registry may help, but i don't want to touch something that may break something else, that's not MY job.
my Wifi is perfectly fine, powerful, and has absolutely no issues with any other game besides Rainbow six siege, and only Seige. I even took a few month break because of this issue, and frankly the game takes a ton of space for what I'd call brick at this point.

Hey there @RukitoMikuTochi, thanks for reaching out and sorry to see that the game's freezing on you!

Some additional steps you can try would be to run both Ubisoft Connect and the game itself as an administrator. Additionally, please make sure that Connect and the game are installed on the same drive/partition. If you can make sure that they're both installed on the same drive/partition as Windows as well, then that would be even better!

Then if you're still not having any luck, please create a support ticket if you haven't already, and be sure to upload your system files so that we can take a closer look! 🙂
