Hey guys, i just upgraded from an rx 580 to a gtx 1660 super. Im starting to really miss radeon chill. I play rainbow six siege, and if i leave the fps uncapped with no form of vsync, and gsync on, i get unplayable stuttering and screen tearing, since my fps is around 180 while my monitor is 144hz. During intense scenes, the fps will drop to 160. My monitor is the AOC c24g1, a freesync monitor, but it is gsync compatible. If i try capping the fps however, a majority of the time the fps will be at the frame cap, 144, but in intense scenes, the fps will drop to 120-130, while normally it wouldnt have even gone below the refresh rate uncapped. I have tried all the forms of fps limiters, r6s's limiter, rtss limiter, nvidia profile inspector limiter, and nvcp limiter. None of them yeild better results than each other. Btw, gsync also doesnt seem to work properly, it is enabled through dp in nvcp and in 3d settings, but even when my fps is at 144 steady, the screen somehow still manages to tear. How is this possible? And is there a solution to this, because I dont see how anyone can play like this?

Hello there Cygenta!

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues.

We have a list of troubleshooting steps available here, give them a go and see if they resolve your issue.

As you've changed from an AMD to Nvidia GPU, I'd also ensure that all drivers / programs associated with your previous RX 580 in case there's any conflicts.

If you're still having issues after attempting the above, please contact us via our Support Site and send us your system files [DxDiag & MSinfo] and we'd be happy to take a closer look as to what else may be causing any issues.

Thank you!
