I finally logged onto my steam account and tried to play rainbow which previous i had 68hrs on it and finally was ready to start playing it again when Ubisoft connect popped up and said the was a problem authenticating the ownership. I don't understand how this is true when ive owned the game for over a year and have hours on it and still cant gain access to play.

Hello imaslaphead,

This error is caused when the Ubisoft account you're trying to sign in with, is not the same account you originally launched and activate the game with.

Do you have any secondary Ubisoft Accounts you're aware of?

If you require help locating any additional accounts, please contact us directly via our Support Site or you can also reach us on Facebook and Twitter

When making your case, please be sure to include the following;
- A screenshot of the following folder; Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache\ownership
- A screenshot of your Proof of Purchase for the game;

Please make sure all screenshots are clear, uncropped and have your username visible.

Thank you!
