I was just thinking about what presently makes the silencer useful and what might make the silencer useful to the point that more players choose to use it.

At the moment, the utility of the silencer is in the way that shots fired from silenced weapons don't show threat indicators or bullet trails to enemies. This helps the shooter to remain hidden.

But what if the death indicator was removed when an enemy is killed by a silenced weapon? It would enhance a player's ability to remain hidden but still keep the game play design inline with the way the silencer already works. It might also make the silencer a practical choice for more players and lead to an increase in the variety of game play in Siege.

Edit: did some research and this has been suggested many times as far back as 3 years ago or possibly even further.

This is quite the idea! Most of the time, I see suggestions to remove the damage reduction for Silencers. I've not really personally seen suggestions about removing the kill from the kill feed altogether. Although, as the others have mentioned, I feel like it eliminates a feature of communication with your team. But it is still cool in concept!
