hi

i have problem with voice chat in game , and i tested on many PC before , and used all solutions didn't worked.

i think my account bugged

1. play rainbow on many PC like game net. or home , or laptop . it doesn't work. problem is not come from setting PC or GAME , because i'm used other account , on there PC or laptop or game net , voice chat it be worked .( like my brother R6 Account that is IAursI doesn't have any voice Problem on my PC )

2.i tested the my R6 account on my brother laptop too and yet i had the same voice problem ,

3. we tested my R6 account on 10 game net PC and yet we had same problem with voice chat (when we used my brother account on the same 10 PC the voice chat was fine)

4. its about 6 month i have this account and the whole time i wasn't able to use the voice chat at all even a once

so i think i have problem in My account with Voice Chat in rainbow six siege at all and its a bug that require your help to be fixed

Thank you for reporting this to us, MAD_MASK. This certainly seems like quite a strange issue and it's not sure why it wouldn't be working specifically on one account.

Are you moving across anything when you are playing on a different PC? For instance hardware, GameSettings files or anything similar?

Can you try having the Cloud Saves disabled in Uplay on another PC and then trying the Voice Chat? It may be that something from the Cloud Saves is being carried over when you are on a new PC.

Welcome to the forums. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with using in game voice chat in Rainbow Six: Siege. Communication is a big part of our tactical based shooter and we can appreciate the impact this has on the game experience if this is restricted.

Due to changes that were necessary to improve our overall communication, we introduced a new form of technology to vastly improve our voice chat.

Please make sure your microphone is set as "Default Communication Device" in your settings.

Then also make sure that your microphone have the proper right in your Windows:
1. Open your “File Explorer” and click on “Control Panel”. Then click on “Hardware and Sound” and then click on “Sound”.
2. Click on the “Recording” tab and then select your microphone (i.e. “Headset mic”, “Internal mic”, etc.) and click "Properties".
3. Click the "Advanced" tab. Click on the check mark in the box next to "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" to remove the check mark from the box. Then click "Apply".

If all the steps have been done and the issue continues please let us know.
