[2023] I've lost my player level and got reset to 0

Recently downloaded the game again and after plenty of issues with server connectivity and synchronization I managed to get into the game itself. But now my player rank has been set to 0 and I need to level all over again...
Would anything be possible here to get my old level back? Or have I lost my progress forever now?

We have been experiencing some server degradation at the moment which may have lead to progress / levelling temporarily going missing.

Is your progress still 0?
