So a few months ago I got a pc with the following specs
PC
GPU
Zotac GTX 1660Ti
CPU
Ryzen 5 3600
MOBO
MSI B450 Tomahawk Max
RAM
16 GB Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz

I was able to run Rainbow Six Siege on 170-200+ fps on all low or off except shadows medium and I was able to stream with more than 144 fps average in-game. But after a few months, my fps drops to around 120-150 and 100 fps while streaming on all low or off including shadows. What should I do to restore my fps to its original numbers and what red flags should I look out for. Thx

Hello Chen.-,

Welcome to the Forums!

I'm afraid when it comes to streaming, we cannot advise the best ways to improve performance.

While your setup is more than capable of running the game to high rates, having streaming software running in the background too is more than likely to decrease performance given the more power you're then using.

We typically advise in these cases to reduce background app usage, however in your case of streaming, lowering the in-game graphic settings will be the next best thing to test to try and bump up your FPS if possible.

Apps such as Discord also have a hardware acceleration feature that uses your GPU to enhance loading times, it may be worth disabling this while streaming to see if this improves frames at all.

I hope some of these suggestions help!
