I have Rainbow Six siege downloaded on Steam and it says it is downloaded. I have played siege recently but when i tried to play it today it says " There was a problem authenticating the ownership of this product. Please contact customer support if you need help in solving this problem." I've played the game before and all of a sudden it wont let me play. Both the game and the Uplay launcher is up to date. Please help.

This issue is typically caused when the Ubisoft account you originally used to activate the game, is different to the one you're currently trying to sign in with.
Are you aware of any other email address you may have registered a Ubisoft account with? If so, I'd advise giving those a try.
