If I play quick match or unranked my ping is fine, I assume its because I'm on local servers, but once I play even one t-hunt with someone from europe or australia my ping spikes to over 1000 every few seconds and it even persists after quitting siege entirely. For example, earlier today I played some quick matches with all local players and my ping was fine. I stopped siege and played valheim with a friend from europe then started it again an hour or so afterwards to play t-hunt with an australian friend and instantly once he joined my party, my ping began to spike as soon as I got into the game. I quit siege since it is unplayable with this amount of ping spiking and instead started to play valheim again with the same foreign friend which earlier had no issue (he hadn't even restarted the server) it was uncontrollable due to ping spikes. Any clue what might be causing this (or if it might be a Ubisoft issue, not exclusively a siege issue like I suspect)?

Hello @Eb0vv thanks for getting in touch with us about your ping issues when grouping with someone from another area. This is to be expected if you are playing within a group with a player from another faraway region, you will experience some high ping and latency issues.

By default, you will be connected to one of 3 datacentres that have the best ping for your location. I recommend following this guide for connection issues on PC, to see if this can improve your connection performance >> - https://ubi.li/YPwnl
