[2023] No sound except sound effects

Hi,
For a while now I've had no in game sound except for sound effects (e.g. footsteps, gunsounds, explosions, etc.). I hear all the necessary things I need to play the game normally but I don't hear the voiceover announcements such as '10 seconds left', nor the music in the starting menu, etc. Just recently I lost a game because the sound of the opponent disabling the defuser glitched; I only heard the buzzing sound you hear when someone starts and I thought they were baiting me - we lost because that was not the case.

I have no idea what could be causing this. I have reinstalled the game twice and looked at other threads talking about a similar problem, but none have helped me so far.
Please help

If there is any info needed from my pc or game settings let me know.
