Hey Ubi,
Can you answer the below questions please so I can determine whether theres any point in reporting.
Quick intro before I start - I know the in game reporting system on console doesnt do a thing because Its so overused its pointless. I understand that server lag can occur so evidence showing ddossing needs to be concrete ie. Shooting capitao bolt then ddossing to trap defender in fire. Clipping videos, trimming, editing and posting videos on YouTube takes easily over an hour so its not some quick process.
Q1. Start with an easy one. Does Ubisoft actively ban console ddossers / freezers on PS4 if reported correctly through your website? Can you tell us how many accounts have been banned on PS4 in July so far?
Q2. If the answer to Q1 is yes, what proof do you need to actually ban someone for Ddossing? Say its blatant ddossing (attacker sprints into sight and ddosses while he plants). Is one clip enough. Does opponent need to do it multiple times? Do you need x amount of seconds before the ddos started and x amount of seconds after? What about the subtle ddossing at the end of the game when they lose so that the match doesnt count? Will reporting that and showing video evidence be enough or is it pointless reporting that?
Q3. For lobby freezing what proof is required? I submitted one of these and it included; messages from the freezer saying he would keep it frozen all day, screenshot from other team showing he was the one that hadnt connected yet, video clip of us all stuck on round start screen. I submitted that two months ago and hes been online most days since then....
Q4. How long does it take for a case to get looked into? I know theres lots submitted (allegedly) but if a ddossing report was submitted today, when do you think it would get looked at? Within a week? A month? 6 months? Im not asking when a decision would be made, just when a case would be looked at.
I dont think these questions are difficult to answer. Please dont give me a generic response like, we cant give timelines on cases being looked into, Im after a rough estimate, not a definitive amount.
This game is fast becoming unplayable because every game in plat 1 or higher seems to be a 40/60 chance of being dossed and it happens lower down less frequently too.
Thanks
Kayron
