Server crashed during my 5th Placement match. I play on US East servers. I got a 1hr abandoned sanction even though I clicked Reconnect as well. I was playing on Xbox Series S at the time. I recorded what happened as well. It says that I abandoned when I look at my placement matches also. So im guessing thats gonna affect my rank 
I'm not looking for a lift on the sanction, but is there any way the match wont affect my placement?
Hello glitchmaster317 thanks for reaching out to us. I am sorry to see you received an abandon sanction for 1 hour due to disconnection after the game crashed. If you are playing placement matches when this happens, I am afraid it will count as an abandoned match and this will have an effect on your placement, as one incomplete match, my apologies.
If you continue to experience crashes in-game, please let us know and tell us what happens when the game crashes, if you witness any error message when the game crashes or when you return, or any other details you may think relevant?
