Due to the amount of data your cache holds, it can sometimes get bogged down and lead to various technical and performance problems. Clearing it is a great, simple step to try when you start noticing issues like this. You can do this by unplugging your console from the wall, waiting at least two minutes, then plugging it back in and restarting your game.
