Since smurfing is now a bannable offense, can u add this a button for smurfing. currently i have been just clicking hacking/cheating button for the smurfing. But an icon for mutliple accounts/smufing should be added as well since you can be banned for this now.

Before anyone says you cant and they dont atually ban people for smurfing. they do as i have recieved multiple notifications in my email for accounts that were smurfing that action was taken against them and recieved my elo back as well. so yes they are actively taking this seriously. As this has been a major issue for this game for along time.

On average, how often would you say you encounter smurfs or suspected smurf accounts during a single session of Siege?

Hey Thor, would you be talking about a notification that says that "someone specific's name" has been banned? Or just notifications that your ban took effect against another players account?

I merged your recent thread with this one since it is about the same topic. Please refrain from making multiple threads about the same topic as it is considered spamming.

Why is it i'm reporting and getting emails back from UBI saying action has been taken against the player who is smurfing. But i'm not getting the Elo i lost from said smurf.
Firstly, the Thank You letter does not specifically say the ban was because they were found to be smurfing. The player behavior team is still investigating Smurfing and I am fairly certain we have not begun banning players just because they are apparently Smurfing.
Secondly, the MMR Rollback only applies to players who were banned for Cheating currently. MMR Rollback is not applied for players who were banned for toxicity. As previously mentioned, the team is still investigating Smurfs and working on a plan to properly address them. I know some people think that Toxic Behavior bans should also cause MMR to be rolled back.
Personally, the problem I see with doing this is in situations for players who were banned for chat toxicity. Assuming that player was actually playing the game and not throwing on top of being toxic in chat, they didn't really do anything to change the course of the game. You could technically argue they did change the course of the game by playing mind games with people and causing them to tilt. The good thing about the game currently is players have the tools to mute players in matches to prevent them from interacting with that person. I personally have All Chat turned off, which has improved my experience. Regardless, there are risks to implementing the rollback to apply to toxicity bans that the Player Behavior team is most likely trying to workaround.
Maybe when you ban the accounts you ban the IP which effects all there accounts or find some way to these other accounts so that they cant purchase or play there other ones.
The problem with IP banning is that it is easy to circumnavigate IP bans.

The Level 50 change is supposed to help slow the increase of new Smurfing accounts. There are accounts that may be over level 50 at this point, and the team is continuing to look into options. The level 50 change was an initial change to help slow the growth.
