Hello @pepew I am sorry to hear the audio patch may have had a negative effect on your game.

To rule out a few possible external causes, could you please follow every step in Microsofts guide for audio issues on PC, this guide covers the most common causes, that can cause certain missing audio tracks in-game >

If you can tell us the exact name of the headset or speaker model you use, this would be useful also, thank you.

Hello @PePew thanks for getting back to me, thank you for the video of your settings and thank you for following Microsofts troubleshooting guide for audio issues.

Following on from the Microsoft troubleshooting steps I gave you, would you be able to try these remaining troubleshooting steps, not listed in the previous guide to rule out a few other causes of this missing announcer audio >>

1. If using any other sound-controlling software such as Discord or any other VoIP programs, please disable this through Task Manager and relaunch the game, to check if these programs were causing any interference with your audio.

2. Test the game in borderless window mode, windows mode, and full screen to see if all display options have no sound. Sometimes running a game in borderless window mode specifically, will fix this issue.

3. Next, check your Advanced Windows Sound Options for the game, in case an update has changed some of the settings you were using >

-Right-click on the Volume/Sound speaker icon in your Taskbar and select Open Sound Settings.
-Scroll down until you see the Advanced Sound Options and select App Volume Device Preferences.
-You will see an 'Output and Input' option, make sure you have your game open, and it should appear in the list of applications here.
-From here you can assign which device the listed applications/game will output their audio to. Under the dropdown column for the game, select which Audio Device you'd like to output the game's audio to whether that be a headset or a speaker

4. In case these audio issues are caused by a corrupted game file in your games installation, please verify your game files in the game launcher as verifying may fix these files >  https://www.ubisoft.com/help?article=000060529

If after following all of the above steps, you still encounter this audio issue, please let me know so I can open a private support case for you for further help from our Siege team, as this issue may be a new bug that needs reporting if all troubleshooting does not help.

Hey @pepew ,

Just checking in to see how you're getting on?

And may we please know if you're running your audio via Stereo or Surround sound in-game?
