Whether we love it, hate it, or are indifferent, it's clear that the direction of the game is to treat Terrorist Hunt as a sort of "training" mode. Regardless how they label it, it can either be fun to play, or good for just warming up and working to increase skill with various loadouts, depending on your tastes.

One thing that is sorely lacking though, is that we can't play Defense operators in the other game modes (and Protect Hostage gets really old, and it's not good for someone working on roaming). This ability has been asked for many times, and has been ignored; perhaps because it would involve a great deal of development, just for a mode that is considered "secondary", or "training".

However, I still want a better way to practice with various guns and setups in classic T-Hunt. To that end...what I propose is this:

Just for T-Hunt only, could we possibly have a Recruit that can at least select ANY weapons and their available attachments, and any secondary gadget (frags, flashbangs, nitro cells, etc.)? Maybe even perhaps allow us to choose the Recruits' speed/armor level as well? Being able to choose a select number of operator gadgets (like Pulse's cardiac sensor) would be extra icing on the cake, but not as critical. This would really help us to be able to fully utilize T-Hunt as a solid training ground, and the development effort wouldn't be nearly as extensive as trying to make operators available across all game modes.

Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Just to clarify to make sure I am understanding when you were talking about being able to pick the Recruit loadout, you were wanting to play as the Recruit, correct?

This would include all AR's and SMG's in the game, regardless of attack/defense. I apologize if my original post wasn't clear. Thanks for responding!
Ah, I see, so basically you want the option of being able to use defensive weapons on attack just so you can learn the recoil pattern?

I think having this ability would really make TH a better form of training/practice. Thanks for your reply!
Now I understand! This would be a great addition. The community has long asked for something like this since it would be easier to learn a wide variety of weapons. Is there any weapon, in particular, you really want to use?
