Hello my name is iiDimxnsii, I play Rainbow Six Siege on my ps4. I Have a bunch of fun playing rainbow with my friends and we always are excited to play. Ever since July 26, 2020. For some unknown reason my MS in rainbow was suddenly 300. I at first thought it was my internet, so then I proceed to restart it and still, 300. I I don't live in America so I usually would run 70,80,90 ms. But that did not bother me, I learned to play with it. Like I also got used to that ping in many other games. So after I restarted the connection and saw that the 300 ping was still there, I went into Fortnite, just to check if it was me, but I had 70 ping over there, I tried other games and I had 70-80. But for some reason only in Rainbow Six I have 300+ ms. Ive changed my setup, I have moved my playstation closer to the router, Ive plugged in a LAN Cable, but none of that worked and I still had 300+ ping. I thought it was the servers but the server status said that everything was working. I connected my ps4 to my data and over there I had 120 ping, which was playable but I wanted to be able to play with my regular wifi like before. This same issue is also happening to my best friend and we both do not know what to do anymore.
