[2021] Afk farming renown

Hey, my friend showed me a video of AFK farming renown with an auto-clicker. I'm assuming this isn't allowed and after spending well over the base price for the game im checking before even thinking about doing this. And if it is bannable is the punishment a permanant ban? I just don't want my friend to get banned and I told him to not do it until a staff member verifies its bannable or its not.
