I hadn't played the game in a while and when I tried to get back in it it randomly started to close by itself with no warning or freeze and I'd have to alt tab to close the game, usually happening when I was mid match. I've tried everything I could find online to fix the issue and its still persists. What else can I do to fix the issue?

First and foremost, for troubleshooting purposes, if you haven't already, give the following steps a go, starting of by verifying your game files first (make sure to also complete the rest) and see how that goes.
