Hello community, developers,

An idea for Castle could be to give him a drill machine to create peek holes into his barricades.
Additionally give him a 4th one and make his barricades more resistant against explosives, you need 2 impacts/frag grenades to destroy them, but just 1 breach charge. Reduce breach charge amount from 3 to 2.

What do you think about it?

Hey guys! How do you feel about Castle getting the Super Shotty? Do you consider it a strong buff?
I do like the idea of making his barricades a little bit more stronger. Do you think this would greatly impact his pick rate? I also like the idea of being able to use Kaid's gadget on them as well.

Thanks for sharing everyone! I'm excited to see the impact of the current Castle change as time goes on. It seems a fair majority of players think his barricades are not strong enough. I do agree with Pulo that Castle is fairly strategic and does fairly well in higher ranks. The team will continue to monitor Castle's state, especially with the weapon change.

getting close castle barricades can be dangerous for the attackers feet and dont forget C4. Maybe give Castle C4 instead of impacts.
I really like that idea!

To Castle: In my honest opinion the new shotgun is a good addition, but wont make him significantly more appealing in the casual/ranked players eye.
I think that is a fair assumption. I do think it is a good change for Castle, but I don't think it will improve his pick rate much.
