Yesterday me and a few friends were queuing for comp, we heard the match start audio cue play, and were all immediately disconnected from matchmaking. We all got the "connection error" message and recieved 30 minute bans, before even entering the lobby. None of us even got far enough to see the "bomb" title screen, we were all just disconnected while still in the home screen. Today, I tried playing unranked with a friend. After being in queue for 5 minutes, I tried to restart the queue, and was prompted with a message telling me I was about to abandon a match and get an hour long penalty. Why does this keep happening? I just want to play the game, I can't keep on getting random bans multiple days in a row because the penalty timer is going to just keep increasing. Right now it's not even letting me play any other game mode because it's telling me I need to reconnect to the unranked match that I was never matched for. I can't even abandon this non-existant match, so how am I supposed to play other game modes? Why did this happen to me 2 days in a row? Are Ubi's servers really that bad? Someone please offer a fix.

Have you tried using this workaround to reconnect to these matches? Additionally, it would be beneficial to complete our connectivity troubleshooting guide in full. This will ensure that your connection to the game's online services is not being interrupted and that it is completely optimized. Having an optimized connection should help lessen disconnects and, ultimately, abandonment penalties.
