This just started today.

While playing, in a menu, or browsing the options the game will suddenly freeze.

If I tab out, and tab back in I can only see a black screen - if on the main menu the game music continues to play.

The game never force closes or crashes to desktop. Even if I leave it frozen it just stays in that state until I force close it.

In Task Manager R6 Siege doesn't show as "Not Responding" and the only way to fix the issue is to force close through task manager (at which point it changes status to Not Responding) and restart the game.

ATI Radeon HD 7970 GHz edition card

AMD 8350 eight core 4.0GHz processor

16GB RAM

Windows 7 64-bit.

Never had any issues with R6 Siege before today/the new patch.
