Whenever I open siege I am greeted with the "connection lost, A ubisoft service is unavailable, please try again later". I have checked the other threads and tried to use those tips and such to fix it but I have not gotten any results. I am on wifi as I am on a laptop. I have restarted the router, set a stationary IP, Restarted my computer and checked the host files to make sure they are OK. When I click go offline it loads me into the uplay app (I am logged in) when I click go online it restarts the cycle.

Welcome to the forum and sorry to see you are having trouble accessing Uplay.
It may be worth reinstalling Uplay altogether at this point if it is behaving like that.
