Can you be a bit more specific in your reasoning for why you don't like the rework? Does it have to do with the removal of Train, or is it the whole map you're not a fan of?

Thanks for the feedback! I feel like most new/reworked maps have that maze feel because we're so used to navigating through things a certain way. I'm not a developer, but I feel like the map was reworked because it was so straightforward. Train and Haunted were two areas the community stressed needed changing, and unfortunately since removing those sections would ruin the entire flow of the map, it was decided that an essential rework was needed to fulfill the requests from the community. Have you had a chance to play on it recently? Perhaps running a few T-Hunts could help refamiliarize yourself with everything!

Additionally, are your frustrations with new Theme Park the same for Kanal and Hereford, or are their additional aspects about the map you feel need to be improved? I saw a few players say how they feel the 3rd-floor bomb site as the only good site on the map.

What kind of changes are you guys looking for with Theme Park now? Is there anything with the rework you do like?

Perhaps I'm being too critical but honestly my biggest issue with these remakes is the lighting changes and removal of certain elements while the addition of unnecessary rooms that make the map painful to play.
Kanal had some issues I think we can agree on that but when y'all remade it you killed the ambience of the map design changes aside the general feeling of the map... The cleanliness offended me as before it felt like a dirty dingy dangerous port to where now as I've said before it feels like an industrial clean room.
So the main issue with Kanal is the feel of the map, with some other issues of the layout, correct? I just want to be sure I'm understanding you.

Ubisoft did New Hereford absolutely great in the ambience department and made the area FEEL authentic but the map design honestly and truthfully just sucked... Unnecessary rooms that made clearing a honestly painful and tedious process and made it a nightmare for everyone whether it was attacking or defending.

The clean-cut straightforward design of old Hereford made the map easy to pickup and attack and defend with a few exceptions.

All it needed was some removal of breachable areas and maybe moving of bomb and biohazard sites but the whole map was essentially scrapped and redesigned and while it felt familiar it also felt like when mom would say WE HAVE "THAT" AT HOME but when you go home it was just a knockoff .
I personally really like the rework of Hereford and do agree that it feels much more authentic. I can understand how it may be a bit more confusing, but I think part of that comes from being comfortable with the old map.

I appreciate your input about the importance of the ambiance of a map and how it improves your experience for you.
