Hey everyone, Sekigan here, I am here to introduce a class idea which Thor has consistently asked for. In this post I will introduce some abilities and talents that I created which I would think suite the shaman class. Feel free to give feedback!

Shaman is a support / damage class and uses spirit based abilities and enhances their combat abilities.

Abilities:

Chain Heal: A revitalising beam of lightning is shot from the Shaman, linking him with up to 3 nearby allies causing them to recover some health.

Comment: The chain heal would be best used in a squad game however, if using Chain Heal with no allies around, it would heal you for the combined amount of each player. This ability can be seen as similar to healing totem however it feels more unique and has a different play style than the totem.

Boulder: The Shaman launches a giant boulder that is affected by gravity. The boulder shatters on impact, dealing damage to nearby enemies and knocking them back.

Comment: This ability is quite unique, the boulder would deal a minimal amount of damage and a bit of a knockback effect. This may sound a bit overpowered however if balanced correctly this could be a great idea to create space between your enemy.

Earthen Spike: An underground earth spike departs from the Shaman and locks onto a targeted enemy player. Upon reaching its target, the spike emerges from the ground and deals damage to the target and knocks them upwards slightly. Any other enemies in the surrounding area will receive a small amount of damage

Comment: Earthen Spike targets one enemy, this can set you up for a great combo, but it can also be used in a group fight as the minimal damage could finish off an enemy.

Talents: Chain Heal

Shamans Touch: When activated, allies that are connected with chain heal will receive a small increase in movement.

Comment: This talent for chain heal will allow you to push your enemies as you get that heal and movement speed. This will allow players to become more aggressive.

Talents: Boulder

Solidify: When the boulder hits an enemy, you will receive a small amount of health.

Comment: If low on health and the enemy is chasing you, just throw your boulder which will knockback the enemy and heal you at the same time. Obviously it wouldn't knock the enemy too far but maybe just enough for you to get that health potion in.

Talents: Earthen Spike

Windfury: Once the spike hit's an enemy, your weapon becomes imbued with the power of the Wind. For the next X amount of seconds, each of the Shaman's attacks have a chance to trigger an extra double-attack on his enemy.

Comment: This talent is one of the most unique talents there is, the double attack would deal half the normal damage it would deal. For example if you hit someone for 500 damage, you would deal that and 250 damage, so in total 750 damage.
