Welcome to the Tournament of Survivors! π
We love all of our characters equally, but we want to hear from you. Who is the ultimate ROR2 survivor?
Who has the slickest skills? Shiniest weapons? Flashiest costumes? Polling begins later this week.
Who will be crowned winner? π
Time your reload just right to get extra kick out of the Railgunner's M99 Sniper Rifle. β±οΈ
Land the marker in the highlighted "sweet spot" to gain a 100% damage boost to your next shot.
As far as we know, #ROR2 is the only third-person action game to do this. βοΈ
Does it count as a headshot if the enemy is just a head?
A letter from Hopoo
With their goofy grin and lack of eyes, Blind Pests may not seem like the most intimating foe.
However, they can overwhelm seasoned survivors and spew globs of acid by the ounce. π
It's also believed they make up for their absent sight by licking and tasting things. Yuck.
Not even the most powerful spacesuit can protect you from the rancid stench of the Sulfur Pools.
This new location in Survivors of the Void features natural hotsprings that provide explorers with large amounts of geothermal energy.
Not only that, no one will know you farted.

A new survivor is landing on the surface of Petrichor V...
Who are you calling "four eyes?" π
Target enemy weaknesses through the power of eyewear with Lost Seer's Lenses.
A corruption of the Lens-Maker's Glasses, these spectacles provide a slim chance of insta-kill opposed to the chance of critical strike that the originals offer.
Explore the mysterious Aphelian Sanctuary with Survivors of the Void. πΆ
This new location is as recognizable for its massive structures and shrines as its waves of insatiable enemies.
These intriguing structures behave as echoes to a bygone society that was once consumed.
Warning: ancient and prehistoric internet reference incoming.
Boom headshot! π₯
Pack a warm coat and your coziest mittens when you enter the Siphoned Forest. π·
This new location in Survivors of the Void sports snow-covered trees and frozen ground that cracks with every step.
Is it the icy wind moving the trees, or is something lurking in the shadows?
Harness the resilience of the tardigrade (AKA water bear) with the void item Safer Spaces.
A void variant of Tougher Times, this item blocks incoming attacks on a set timer instead of randomly like the original. π§Έ
You now have two different cute bears to cuddle. π
With fiends like that, who needs enemies?
Playing as the Void Fiend in co-op mode?
As much fun as it is to use your special powers to obliterate enemies, be a Void Friend and be sure to keep your health up so you can help your fellow survivors!
Check out the poll below! π
Those who have played as both new survivors, Railgunner and Void Fiend, which of the two has been your favorite to play asπ? Do you like to use marksmanship and finesse to pick off foes, or do you prefer to harness the chaotic power of The Void?

Notice any of your enemies or allies behaving... differently?
Void Infestors latch onto their victims, rendering them Void touched and instantly hostile to Survivors.
After defeating a Void touched enemy, the Void Infestor can target another victim if it's not defeated quickly.
There are definitely quite a few new enemies that you'll want to a-void.
@hopoogames: To cover most of the feedback asked in yesterday's tweet - In the next Dev Thoughts i'm going to conduct a video interviewβ¦
The Void Fiend, a cursed survivor that has been infected by Corruption. This gives them power... at the expense of their health. A risky endeavor that could pay off.
Use Corruption to bring the fight to your enemies, or spend it to heal the Fiend back to fighting strength.
