We've updated our weekly newspost! Gone are the tabs at the top of the page - now you'll find big colourful image banners that expand on click to show you all the latest news! We think it looks great, but let us know your thoughts too!
iOS users, you'll need to ensure you've updated RuneScape in order to play today. For some of you the game will have auto-updated, but for anyone having issues be sure to mosey on over to the App Store to download the latest version.

The tabs at the top always bothered me for some reason, they weren't bad but didn't feel right.
As for these colourful banners. This is a lot better! One criticism though, hover effects are missing. Maybe i'm expecting it to happen after seeing this style on many other websites...

u/JagexKari can you please edit the patch notes to state the Beach towel re-colour is now available under customisation interface?
It's intended behaviour which is why it was left off, but I've updated it to make it clearer :)
The Towel outfit will no longer recolour to your choice of default outfit colours. Using the Wardrobe interface will allow you to recolour it as you would with other outfits.
We think it looks great, but let us know your thoughts too!
I much prefer being able to just scroll and read instead of clicking 10 times. If you intend to keep this new format (I hope you don't, but I don't believe you won't), at the very least add "expand all" button.
We discussed this when we were looking at changing to this format actually! We'll see if we can make it happen.

Whoever made the cutscene should be fired.
It fires up and doesn't prevent your character from taking damage.
So I clicked to go to the front, decided to watch the cutscene, almost died in the process....

Do the Nodon Dragonkin count towards Dragon Tasks? Or do we need the (i presume) new dragonkin slayer task?
they do count towards dragon cluster tasks
did the sale on bank boosters start yet? or are some of them still full price?

just making sure this is the actual feature and not a bug:
do we need just 90+ con to man the siege cannons or 90con AND 90 thieving ("sabotage siege cannon")?
90 con to only repair the engines (so you can then man them), 90 thieving only to sabotage the cannons
And the dragon slayer perk and ability works - just checking if this is intended right?
There are 3 other dragonkin bosses in the game - Abomination, Taraket and Ambassador. Will this retroactively be changed for them?
