Looks terrible imo. Better than what we have, which is a disaster, but this looks really bad to me. Not runescape esque at all.
So just to drop in with a couple bits on this one -
This is a 'Visual Target' concept to show you the kind of detail / quality we're looking to hit with this project vs where we are today. This is by no means a 100% defined or finalized look we're presenting today.
Comments like this are also exactly why we plan to involve all of you in the development of this early and often - potentially even beginning late next month - so we can get important feedback throughout the process.
The goal here isn't just to improve fidelity and quality, but to do it in a way that feels right to as many of you as possible. These are your World Guardians we're messing with, after all.
