Collected Emissary Flags will also now be brought with a ship when diving below the waves, allowing crews to chain battles back-to-back before heading to an Outpost, or the Reaper's Lair, to cash them in.
The impact of Blunderbombs has also been addressed. The number of these pesky projectiles available (through barrels and other methods of supply) has been reduced, and their effectiveness when shot from cannons has also been lowered.
What's more, to support the Battle for the Sea of Thieves, ships now start with more cannonballs, wood and fruit supplies. Additionally, a ship sunk from a fight initiated through the Hourglass of Fate will always return to an Outpost on a new server for faster restocking.
With today's update, a ship that sinks will jettison its supply barrels. This means that more ammo, food and planks will remain in play following PvP fights and also provide an assurance that you'll never again lose a Shadow Stormfish due to an unnoticed leak.
