Smite 2 Founders Pack Question!

I play on xbox and on pc, so.. if i buy the founders pack on xbox then what happens when i go on steam, i dont have access or? a bit confused,

I know that when smite 2 gets released there will be cross play progression and everything will link up but uhh whats the go with this current issue,
