If every god in Smite 2 is rebuilt from the ground up and not directly ported like the devs say then why do a lot of the gods have the exact same glitches/bugs that they did in Smite 1?

I wanna start this off by saying I'm not trying to hate on Smite 2 or the devs because I genuinely enjoy the game and I think it's a way better game than Smite 1. I have already put hundreds of hours into Smite 2 and that is how I've noticed these bugs. I just want to know how there are identical bugs in Smite 1 and Smite 2 if according to the devs everything is rebuilt from the ground up.

One of the examples I have is that Susano in Smite 1 and Smite 2 both have the same exact bug where when you dash using your 1 at the very last second before your 1 runs out, the game doesn't know whether to dash you forwards or cancel the dash because the ability is about to end therefore there's a buggy half dash that looks like you dashed but you get teleported/rubberbanded back to where you were before the dash. This bug can easily happen in every single game you play as Susano, it's probably the easiest bug to recreate in game and it somehow is still in there and not fixed. This may be some kinda bug that has to do with ping/lag but I will say that I have a good connection. This bug was in Smite 1 for Susano's entire span in the game and the bug got transferred into Smite 2.

There is another bug that is completely identical to Smite 1 and I don't know what causes it but sometimes when a phoenix is firing one of the shots will get bugged and it gets stuck on the phoenix and it doesn't get shot. You can hear the sound of the phoenix shot just sitting there on the phoenix and not moving. If you've played Smite 1 a lot you have probably seen this bug occur before and it happens in Smite 2 as well.

There are other bugs from Smite 1 that got transferred to Smite 2 that are better left to the bug reports. Again I want to say I'm not trying to hate on the devs because I know they want to make the best game possible. I know they did not intentionally port these bugs from Smite 1 to Smite 2. I'm no game developer or programmer so I just genuinely want to know how these bugs occur in the same exact fashion as they do in Smite 1 but in Smite 2.
