Hey Pathfinders,

When we launched Space Punks back in July, we mentioned that there would be progress wipes during Early Access. The first wipe will coincide with the launch of our second update, “The Crafty One”, on September 28th.

We want to be as transparent as possible as to the reason for the wipes, so here goes:

● Resetting progress allows us to see how players engage with crafting when starting from the beginning. This will be crucial for us to understand if the economy is working as expected or needs modification.

● We also want to see the impact of the new talents working with crafted and upgraded weapons and armour as you progress through the game.

These wipes are essential to begin the next stage of testing in the Space Punks early access. While we know it can be frustrating to lose your character’s progress, levelling should be a more engaging and full experience with the changes we have implemented so far.

Hey everyone, we launched the Pathfinder program a while back to get feedback and opinions from our players, but it was only available in some select locations. We got a lot of requests for players outside of those regions, so we have opened it up to all players no matter where you are playing from!

Hey Pathfinders, tomorrow we'll be taking the game offline to fix Talent Points for all players who made their accounts before Tuesday's update.

With the new Talent Tree in The Talented One update, there was a change to how Talent Points are earned, resulting in players earning more talent points overall. This meant that players who had already reached a high level would not have the correct amount of talent points, and not be able to unlock as much of the tree as a player who started fresh. The team has now found a fix for this issue, but it will require maintenance meaning the game will be offline for roughly 2 hours. Afterwards, all players should have the correct amount of talent points - max 60, one per level.

The game will be offline for roughly 2 hours - once it's back, everyone should have the correct number of Talent Points - those of you with high level characters will be able to start experimenting with just how far you can push them!

I don't understand how talent slots are supposed to work. I unlock an empty talent slot but there's nothing to put in it.

Those slots are for Talent Items - you unlock those through playing missions. You'll start seeing them appear in your inventory soon!

Hey everyone just a quick note with the new update in regards to old accounts and talent points.

New players will have the correct talent points applied, and existing players should gain the correct amount of points with new levels. Unfortunately, we weren't able to backdate existing players without a character wipe and we didn't want to perform a full wipe for this update.

Features & Improvements

Talents

You can now develop the talents of your characters. A total of 126 talents are available, including 28 item talents. The talent tree is divided into three branches:

· Soldier (offensive)

· Scavenger (utility)

· Survivor (defensive)

As you level up, you gain talent points. Use them to unlock the full potential of your characters.

When you log in for the first time after the update, you will notice that all your old talent items have been removed. Please don't be sad - they were trash anyw...

You can see a whole set of buttons like this in the newest Warframe expansion - railjack - where only a handful players are available at any given time so selecting an exact mission / location result in the boring solo gameplay.

This is a great suggestion, I'll make sure to pass it on to the dev team!

Anyone playing on 21:9 or above resolution gets zoomed in instead of seeing additional.

Nothing I can say now other than that it's feedback that has been given to the dev team - I'm not sure where it sits on priority lists at the minute, but I'd imagine it's below some of the other critical issues.

There are a raft of Bugfixes also included in this patch (we'll have a more detailed set of Patch Notes etc. closer to the update's launch), and a load more that we're working on - we've seen the reports and they are being worked on!

We're constantly working on matchmaking improvements, and some of them will be included in this patch - for now, if you want to play solo you can skip the matchmaking time by readying up when playing solo.

New Talents!

Get the skills to pay the bills, or, even better, have the skills to bail on the bill and eradicate anyone that tries to follow you! We’re bringing in the latest iteration of the talent system that will see a total of 126 talents, including 28 item talents, that let you unlock the full potential of your character!
