Sadly, I'm not a console player and know nothing about how MP works in that environment.

Has this ever worked for you? Or never yet?

If it used to work, did it break after any particular change or update? A new ISP perhaps, a game patch, anything like that?

Very hard to understand how this suddenly affected you two but no one else. If it was just one of you it might b a local Xbox or installation problem, but two at once?

Are you both on the same local network perhaps? Or the same ISP?

You mean not just this particular galaxy Or not just Stellaris?

So you two can play any other Xbox game MP okay, just not Stellaris?

If so, all I know that can be done with console editions is a clean reinstall and cache clear:

- uninstall the game from the XBox

- clear the XBox cache and game files (save game data)

As you can see above this user's issue fixed itself 2 years ago. So it was not a game problem then (most likely ISP), and will not be related to your issue.

This is the kind of reason why we ask people to NOT re-open old threads, they are almost always unrelated issues.

Can either you or your friend play okay with some third person? That will tell which of you two has the problem (or both perhaps).
