[2020] Stellaris gamepass for pc autosave and manual save crashing

Has this always happened ever since you've had the game, or only since when?

Does it happen to both cloud and local saves?

What antivirus app do you use?

Then it sounds very much like those AV apps getting in the way. Both should have a screen where they tell you what apps they've blocked recently, check for stellaris.exe and allow it through in thise dialogs.
