Has the game always been like that for you? Or it used to work okay up to some point?

DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/settings.txt and pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log .

If the game is in fullScreen at 1920x1200 , the same as your Windows desktop, I don't know why this would be happening to you.

You may as well update that nVidia driver, a new one out today
www.nvidia.com

Download the latest official NVIDIA drivers

Download the latest official NVIDIA drivers www.nvidia.com
If that doesn't help, try just deleting the cache folder under Documents-Stellaris, instead of the whole folder - does that do the trick?

excosy said: There is a full log with error occuring, including dxdiag and stellaris log. may it help.
besides, why civic_anglers and civic_catalyst_processing always display fuzzy?

Please update the nVidia driver, as I mentioned before. AND unload GeForce experience before starting the game, if it's running.

excosy said: a log with boderless fullscreen. cursor is right placed but resolution is wrong, it reagrds system 1.25x scaled as original resolution. such, 1920*1200 regarded as 1536*960, all UI components have been large-scaled.
As you can see in settings.txt the scaling is set to 1.0 . You are saying your Windows is scaled to 1.25, is that right?

If those don't help, In your Steam Library right-click on this game and choose Properties. In the Launch Options line, paste this in there:
-dx11

You may have at alt-tab out and back in again to get registration right, but does that help?
