External link →We made a BuddyBot for Stormgate, which can act as training wheels while you’re learning. The UI is also streamlined so you don’t need quite as many inputs to do stuff, we have all the building, units, and upgrades in a compact grid, automated control groups, etc.
It still has a very high skill ceiling, but I’ve found it to be pretty easy to get new players comfortable enough to have fun using all the approachability tools.
