I have to say, a little bit in an effort to balance all the negative comments about the campaign, the pvp aspect of the game feels amazing. I have played 20 hours driving all the 3 races to silver 3 (not a great level, but enough to confidently say I understand basic mechanics and units). It is a bit unbalanced, yes, but the patch today is a good start to balance things off.

Other than that, as a veteran SC2 player (6 years), I must say that the playability is great, and the hotkey system really helps keep the production and the economy healthy while one focuses on combat an exploration. That is a change that I think will help new players and old players feel more in control of the situation.

Although there aren't any units that might win the game in a single hit (IE widow mines, templars or banelings), the game pushes to have encounters where positioning and unit control are fundamental, while spellcaster units help get an advantage if used correctly.

I actually like the artstyle, but I understand it is completely subjective, so I'll just leave it there.

I understand that most criticisim comes from the campaign. I'd say there that we already have the hardest part: a game engine and a repertoir of units that feel interesting. I really hope that developers get to polish the campaign enough to meet people's expectations.

In summary: I am having a blast playing PVP. I can see this becoming the next competitive RTS. For us, pvp players, I think it is clear that the game has some great elements behind it.

I looked today and it was shocking to see that I’ve played a total of 162 ladder matches since the early access started.

This game is addicting and it has potential. I hope we get to see it flourish, and I’ll be playing it until we do.

Really glad to hear you're having a good time! Thanks for being part of our community.
